Happy National Negroni Week! This perfect afternoon aperitif is made up of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso and one part Campari, topped off with a twist of orange peel. A Negroni is usually served on the rocks in an old fashion glass. While traveling through Italy, especially in Florence and Venice, it became almost second nature to order one of these aperitifs before we started in on wine. There are several variations on this cocktail but I prefer to keep it sweet and simple! Enjoy!
