This past weekend we headed to Nashville, the good ol’ Music City, for one of my good friend’s bachelorette party! We had an insanely good time and I definitely want to go back (maybe with a little more of a tame itinerary) so I can explore more of the town, especially the food scene! Would love to hear what some of your favorite spots are around Nashville to start a “must-go-to” list for next time! From our brief time there, here are a few of my favorite things we saw, ate and did!
Here is what we did for Bachelorette weekend: Nashville:
STAY:
We stayed in the most amazing duplex Airbnb (no longer listed on their website) which held 19 of us (but could have held up to 24!) very comfortably. Each side was a mirror image of the other and if I went back I would absolutely stay there again. Also…I was OBSESSED (probably borderline annoyingly so) with the decor…like I needed every single pillow. There was an amazing backyard where you could BBQ or just relax. The birds were also insane…listen to the video below!
EAT/DRINK:
Edley’s BBQ – For our first night in town, we had Edley’s cater a wonderful BBQ dinner for us. Their Mac n Cheese, Nachos, BBQ chicken, and pork are TO DIE FOR! Highly recommend and they made everything extremely easy for our large group!
Virago – One might think a sushi restaurant in Nashville isn’t the first choice but it should be! This place was wonderful and their sushi was amazing. With such a large group of us – we reserved one of their private rooms and had pre-ordered all of the food. It came swiftly and perfectly timed and made for a perfect evening. I would recommend ordering their Crispy/Spicy Tuna (it has POP ROCKS!!), Crispy Okra and the Rainbow Box!
Pinewood Social – This place is awesome. You can eat, drink, bowl, swim and do pretty much anything here. We originally wanted to go swimming but thanks to the tail-end of a hurricane we had to stay inside but believe, none of us were complaining. We didn’t end up bowling, but I would love to go back and try a little bit of everything with some nicer weather. For food – you must order their Lobster Roll with Fries and their Kale Salad…both amazing!
Margot Cafe – We got lucky and got in this adorable French cafe just via walk-in and it was everything we needed in a | last morning in town | brunch. Their pastry trio of a pecan roll, donut and berry muffin was the best splurge you could imagine. I also ordered their pesto, tomato and mozzarella omelet – loved it.
DO:
Pinewood Social – See above – can’t wait to go back!
Live Music/Dancing – HELLO, IT IS THE MUSIC CITY!! Every single bar we went into, especially on Broadway, had live music. I would recommend Acme Feed & Seed, Honky Tonk Central, Tootsies and Tequila Cowboy (okay not really a live music place but there is a mechanical bull!)
We had such an incredible time – I can’t wait to go back! Would love to hear your recommendations!
