What was supposed to be a slightly wet and windy weekend in the Bay, turned out to be three stunning Autumn days. My parents came into town for some wedding planning and my first wedding dress fitting (!!!) at Jin Wang. We were able to show off this beautiful city by visiting Homage, Angler, Vive la Tarte, Flores, Trattoria Contadina, Marlowe, Blue Bottle and endless views which turned into this week’s Sunday Snapshot.
One of the most beautiful views of the weekend was our walk home from our dinner at Angler on Friday night. The water was calm, the air was warm and there was a heavy cloud cover that reflected the lights of the Bay Bridge. With my Achilles injury, I haven’t been able to wander the Embarcadero or our neighborhood as much as I usually do and this weekend was a perfect entry back into wandering.
I am always looking to shoot new areas of the city or the views we seem to take for granted, seeing them almost every day. I would love to hear some of your favorite areas around the city or even the larger Bay to snap photos or admire the beautiful scenery. Send them my way!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and cheers to the week ahead!
