Sunday Martini

Location: Seattle, WA

Yes, it is Monday (evening) and not Sunday. I started this post last night and much like the last four months, life got in the way. So here we are finishing what we started.

Two weeks ago, for the big 3-0, I went home to Seattle to spend some time with my family and one of the biggest questions was, “so, what’s next?!” GREAT question. Armed with one of these stunning Sunday martinis in hand, I had a lot of time to think. After a whirlwind end to 2019 with the wedding of our dreams, 2020 has come in and it has sort of felt like we have been floating around. Weekends are no longer taken up by wedding planning, after work I have all of this free time…so what am I supposed to be doing? I realized, much like this lovely cocktail which appears to be quite full, my life could not be more full in the best way possible right now. I have time to get back to photography. There are some amazing opportunities that have come about that I cannot wait to start working on. We went on an incredible trip to Mexico City that I can now get around to editing photos from. That gym membership that I have been neglecting is about to get a run for its money.

It’s so easy to think of the next big event or trip and make that some times the only thing you have to look forward to. So what is next? 2020 is going to be a year of saying yes to things I want to say yes to and really living in what makes me thrive as a person, partner, friend but most importantly, as my real self.

I have clearly been silent on Wine Dine Wander and my heart is so happy to be picking up full steam ahead. Some of the things I have coming to you: WEDDING RECAP, Wedding Photos & Details, Bachelorette Party in Palm Springs, Mexico City Guide and Photos with several other things in the works.

I appreciate each and every single one of you that has either followed me this far and has kept reading. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and cheers to the week ahead!

*This stunning glass is called the “Golden Lady Hamilton” made by the insanely talented family at Kusak Crystal. Sadly, their cut crystal is no longer being made so pieces like these are extra special!
