Terra Valentine was the very first wine club I joined and really the first place that got me excited about wine. I joined eight years ago and have watched the brand go through multiple phases of tasting rooms, labels and employees. Through all of these changes, it is still one of the most special places in all of Napa Valley to me. This past weekend they hosted a special private harvest party for their club members. Sam, Angela, Joe, and Lawrence put on an incredible 2018 Terra Valentine Harvest Party and I was lucky enough to have them trust me to photograph the event. Highlight: Vertical tasting with wines starting back in 1999 – including four straight years of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Yverdon Vineyard 2006-2009. This vineyard now belongs to Lokoya so every bottle opened is one less in existence.
